Finishers: Legs

To go along with some of our strength building and muscle mass routines, we are going to introduce some new finishers designed to work specific muscle groups. These are different from our Metabolism Boosters in that they are not full body finishers solely designed to kick in a fierce after burn and torch fat. They are more geared toward stimulating every muscle fiber possible in the specific group you are targeting that day…So that being said, today we give you some leg finishers that would go great with something like our Muscle Mass: Leg Routine.

Finisher #1:

Use a barbell for this routine…

Complete 4 – 5 rounds as quickly as possible while maintaining proper form:

  1. 5 Front Squats
  2. 5 Straight Leg Deadlift
  3. 5 Back Squats
  4. 10 Lunges (5 each leg)
  5. 15 Calf Raises

Finisher #2:

Complete 1 – 2 rounds of this body weight complex. Do as many reps as possible in 1 minute for each exercise then rest for 30 seconds and move to next exercise. Once you finish a round, take about 2 minutes then do it again:

  1. Body Weight Prison Squats
  2. Body Weight Alternating Lunges
  3. Body Weight Split Jumps (Alternating Lunge Jumps)
  4. Body Weight Jump Squats/Star Jumpers

Finisher #3:

Complete 3 – 4 rounds:

  1. Wall Sit 1 min +
  2. Prison Squats20
  3. Walking Lunges 30
